United Way will launch LIVE UNITED this Saturday, June 21, with the first annual United Way Day of Action. United Way will kick off its nationwide efforts to inspire individuals to give, advocate & volunteer.

United Way’s three goals for the next 10 years:
1. Cut in half the number of youths who drop out of high school: 560,000 more youth per year will graduate from high school.
2. Cut in half the number of lower-income working families that are financially unstable: 1.9 million more lower-income working families will be financially stable.
3. Increase by a third the number of youth and adults that are healthy and avoiding risky behavior: 1.9 million more youth and 29.2 million more adults will be healthy and avoiding risky behavior.
